What is a Community House?

The Mildura Community house specialise in assisting specific groups, such as people with disabilities, women, singles, kids and the elderly. The website of the Community Housing Industry Association Victoria contains a complete list of organisations that are members of the Community Housing Industry Association Victoria. Community housing offers a variety of housing options based on the needs and preferences of the family or individual. Strategic Plan

The main goal of this house is to provide everyone with the opportunity to participate in its programmes, allow for personal development, and provide leisure activities in a safe and affordable environment.
However, in today’s economic climate, it is critical that the Neighbourhood House become more business-oriented without losing sight of its original purpose – that of a “neighbourhood house.”

The House must devise specific strategies to deal with an ever-changing economic and political environment, with the goal of becoming more self-sufficient.  To learn more about our strategic plan, download the information below.

Venue Hire & Catering

The Mildura community House has a variety of facilities to cater for a wide range of function events. From small scale family celebrations to more formal events, indoor, outdoor or at adjacent sporting facilities, the Community house is there for you. We can also cater for a variety of events.

Menu
Our menu is negotiable, but we have a commercial kitchen on site and can cook curries, spring rolls, fried rice, sandwiches, fruit platters, and more. Our prices are very reasonable, and the money made goes directly back into programs at the community house.

For more information, contact the House co-ordinator on (03) 5022 8497,
